METROCENTER LEVEE
As part of the design team for a new 3-mile jogging path capping a levee, I worked with the Army Corps of Engineers and local landscape architects to incorporate art into floodwalls, fencing, railings, and paving along the trail that overlooks the Cumberland River.
A sculptural floodwall provides seating for visitors to the levee greenway, as wall as framed views of the Cumberland River. The form wall a shady spot for lunch as well as hiding a small electrical sub-station.
